An online retail platform specializing in luxury menswear and lifestyle products. The platform distinguishes itself by fusing commerce and content, with its online and print magazine
I joined Mr Porter at the onset of its creation, and worked closely on the entire product offering
I had the opportunity to work on both the design and art direction for the online editorial, as well as defining the newest e-commerce experience. One of my proudest achievements to date is creating issue No.1 of The Mr Porter Post, which has since become a regular publication. My last position was within the product team as Principal Interaction Designer, where I designed new product experience for both the purchase pathways and online editorial.
The Journal
– Daily content concept
In tandem with social apps displaying sponsored brand content, Mr Porter began to evolve its weekly published Journal with daily content drops. The challenge here was to create a visual balance between daily bitesized content and composed magazine articles with in the Journal landing page.

– 2015 refresh
Mr Porter had begun to generate much more multimedia content which was often hidden behind it's article navigtion. Taking short optimised video loops, I produced a fully responsive concept direction that was touch-optimised for the first time.
eCommerce
– Browse and purchase flows
Along side content product design, I would also develop and evolve the shopping experiences, moving from static pages to responsive layouts that utilised flexible component libraries. One of the last journies I designed was the Design A-Z directory, in which we aimed to integrate a favourite design selection and designer browsing mode.
